Portable cabins require a level, compacted base. Options include PCC (plain cement concrete) pads, concrete blocks, or in some cases, compacted soil with a suitable base course.
Confirm drainage around the cabin location — poor drainage is the most common cause of long-term foundation and floor problems.
Services
Before the cabin arrives, confirm: power supply point, water supply point, drainage, and any AC refrigerant piping. Where cabins are stacked or installed close together, plan cable and pipe routing.
Installation and handover
Installation typically involves positioning, levelling, connecting services and finish checks. We recommend a joint inspection at handover, with documentation of any snags.
